What is CrossFit?

CrossFit, in its most basic form, is an extremely effective exercise program. Even though it has gained popularity recently, CrossFit has been around since the year 2000. From the beginning, following the CrossFit prescription has proven to be one of the best ways to get fit.

The key ingredient to CrossFit’s success is its programming (or workout plan). Even though the workouts between gyms may be wildly different, CrossFit programming is founded on three guiding principles.

Sticking to these axioms produces an optimal response within your body.  In layman’s terms, you WILL look and feel better.

The physical side of CrossFit is what draws us in but the benefits don’t stop there.  CrossFit workouts build mental toughness in the individual and amazing camaraderie within the group.  We are more than just a gym, we are a community of like-minded individuals who truly enjoy what we do.  This helps make the entire experience more enjoyable as well as providing extra motivation and accountability.
